Here's Why Selena Gomez Doesn't Appear In Charlie Puth's New Video

When Charlie Puth's new video for "We Don't Talk Anymore" dropped on Monday (August 1), we were all wondering the obvious: Where the hell is Selena Gomez?

Instead of the pair of pop stars, viewers were treated to a split screen story of Charlie and a mysterious brunette going about their day without one another. It's hard not to watch the clip and relate to the post-romantic affair, but that didn't stop Selenators from asking the 24-year-old pop star about the starlet's omission from the video.

We're not sure if Charlie was joking or not, but Selena isn't in the clip because the two don't talk anymore. Cue the dramatic sound effect ... or maybe the sad trombone horns.
