PEMBINA COUNTY HAS ISSUED NO TRAVEL ADVISED DUE TO ZERO VISIBILTY AND REDUCED SPEEDS FROM BLOWING SNOW.

NDHP HAS ISSUED NO TRAVEL ADVISED FOR GRAND FORKS COUNTY DUE TO ZERO VISIBILITY AND REDUCED SPEED.

Ellendale Public School closed today.

No school for McIntosh, South Dakota today.

I-29 closed from the Canadian border to the South Dakota border.

The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) along with the North Dakota Highway Patrol (NDHP) have CLOSED I-29 northbound and southbound lanes from Fargo to the Canadian Border due to strong winds causing blowing and drifting snow, areas of near zero visibility, and life-threatening driving conditions. Motorists are not allowed to travel on a closed road due to life threatening conditions. The road may be impassible or blocked.

A No Travel Advised has been extended to portions of southeastern North Dakota due to blowing and drifting snow creating areas of near zero visibility and hazardous driving conditions. Cities included in the No Travel Advised are Lisbon, Forman, Wahpeton, Kindred, and surrounding areas. Motorists should not travel due to hazardous conditions which may make it unsafe to travel.

A No Travel Advised remains in effect for eastern North Dakota. Cities included are Fargo, Casselton, Hillsboro, Cooperstown, Michigan, Cavalier, Pembina, Grafton, Grand Forks, Valley City, Jamestown, Ashley, Ellendale, Edgeley and surrounding areas. Motorists should not travel due to hazardous conditions which may make it unsafe to travel.
