Haunted Fort Postponed Until 2021 Season

The spirit of spooky season remains, but it looks like Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park's annual Haunted Fort event has been postponed. :(

Park Manager, Dan Schelske, said, "Even though we will not be hosting our annual Haunted Fort event, we want to encourage residents to still come out and enjoy the park this fall...this a great place to enjoy the stunning fall colors against the backdrop of the Missouri River."

Visitors are also encouraged to check out their updated 12-for-12 hiking series, which features a different themed hike every month of the year.

Keep in mind, hiking events have been modified this season to accommodate for social distancing.

For example, instead of gathering as a group, hikers can participate in a self-guided hike and submit photos to receive credit.

More information, go to Fort Abraham Lincoln’s Facebook page.

REMINDER: Visitors are encouraged to follow the CDC's guidelines on social distancing and personal hygiene while visiting the park.
