The NBA Playoffs have come down to four teams who haven’t won a championship of any kind in decades, if ever, and Dan Beyer is convinced the eventual title winner will probably be the worst champion we’ve seen in the last 40 years. Doug isn’t so sure and makes a case that the Oklahoma City Thunder could be at the beginning of a dynasty where they win multiple rings.
Dan Beyer: “I think whoever wins the NBA title will probably be the worst champion we’ve seen in the last 40 years.”
Doug Gottlieb: “…There’s a world where these guys get to 30 (years old) and they have multiple titles. Shai (Gilgeous-Alexander) gets to 30, he’s got multiple titles, multiple MVPs and we’re like, ‘Wow, that was an incredible team…incredible team!’”
