Cleveland Browns QB Shedeur Sanders was cited for speeding in Ohio, clocked at 100 miles-per-hour, and it isn’t helping his reputation. And while Doug understands this doesn’t make him a bad quarterback and it certainly isn’t a reason to cut him from the team, it does seem to confirm his reputation as just another entitled athlete.
Doug Gottlieb: “Shedeur Sanders getting pulled over for going 101 (MPH); he has a reputation. Surprises nobody. Feeds into the idea of entitlement. Fair (or) unfair, you have to know that’s what human nature does. Doesn’t mean I cut him, but it definitely points to that no matter what he wants to say in front of the camera, and many of the things in front of the camera have not been contrite, that feels like more of an act; this feels more like who Shedeur is.”
